Last night, the Chaffee-Sardinia Fire Company and guests gathered at the Delevan Fire Training Center to celebrate the last company year and install officers for the 2025-2026 company year.  The night began with an excellent dinner provided by the Holland Willows of Holland.  Music was provided by Firehouse Entertainment.

Town Justice Gene Heintz led the swearing in of the Line Officers, Board of Directors and Executive Officers.

Chief Ronald Kenyon provided remarks to open presentations.  He highlighted the extraordinary efforts of company members throughout the year.  Over 8,000 documented hours were volunteered this year, but many "behind the scenes" hours are left unrecognized.  Chief Kenyon also recognized 7 new company members and 3 members who completed their probationary period in 2025.  In a long list of thank you's, Chief made sure to thank the families of our members for allowing them to run out the door at all hours of the day to serve their community.

President Jamie Gasper gave an inspiring speech and loosened up the audience with some fire department jokes.  Chief Kenyon, President Gasper, Assistant Chiefs Siminski and Roblee, and Captain Moltrup presented members with service awards for years of service.  Three members celebrated having over 50 years of service; Bill Connors (52), Danny Heineman (55) and Jim Wiedemann (58).

Jacob Schweickert received the "Training Marathon Award" for completing an unimaginable 244 hours of training, including a handful of New York State OFPC courses.  While at the podium, Jacob presented an award to Chief Kenyon for many years of unspoken accomplishments, hours (945.23 in 2025) and responses (235 in 2025).
